DTN COMMENTS: Some bids are now being reported in parts of the South,
but they are several dollars below current asking prices of $238 to $240.
So far this morning, the North remains rather quiet with bids and asking
prices not renewed as of yet. Beef cutouts are expected to be lower with
light to moderate box movement.

Yesterday a light trade was reported in parts of the North with dressed
deals marked at $370 to mostly $372, fully steady with the prior week's
weighted average, basis Nebraska. Just a handful of trade was reported by
Mandatory in the South, certainly not enough to establish an accurate
trend for the week.

NOTE: Feedlots are encouraged to call DTN with any cattle sales, at
1-402-461-3561. All sales will be listed anonymously and organized by
state. All live sales are FOB and set for 1-9-day delivery. A weekly
summary from this data will be posted on the Weekly Cattle Sales Reported
to DTN page and will be left up for the entire week for reference
purposes.
